Wyandot Snacks, a prominent contract manufacturer of private-label snack foods, has announced plans to invest $7.7 million in modernising its Marion, Ohio production facility. The initiative will introduce new machinery and equipment to enhance manufacturing capabilities, create 67 new roles, and retain over 260 existing positions.

Lori Roberts, a senior executive at Wyandot, commented: “For almost a century we’ve been firmly established in Marion, and this commitment underscores our ongoing dedication to this community. The modernisation will boost our capacity to deliver innovative, high-quality snacks while enabling us to leverage state-of-the-art technology. Marion’s skilled workforce, favourable business environment, and strong community backing were pivotal in our decision to invest here.”
