Heat and Control will showcase a broad portfolio of snack processing, seasoning, weighing, packaging and inspection technologies at Pack Expo International 2026 in Chicago.
The company will use booth N-4706 to demonstrate equipment designed for applications ranging from potato snacks and expanded snacks to croutons, French fries and other prepared foods. Its showcase will include live equipment demonstrations alongside systems intended to improve production efficiency, product consistency, operator conditions and resource use.
Among the technologies on display will be Heat and Control’s FastBack Symphony On-Machine Seasoning System and Spray Dynamics Symphony In-Kitchen Seasoning System. Both are designed to improve seasoning application while reducing airborne seasoning ingredients and product waste.
Drying and processing solutions
Heat and Control will also highlight Tek-Dry thermal processing technology at Pack Expo International for the first time.
The company’s Tek-Dry French Fry Dryers use a single-pass design intended to provide consistent drying, high evaporation rates and precise moisture control while reducing product agitation and fines. Similar technology is available for snack products including croutons, expanded snacks and bread-based applications, with different heating configurations available to suit production requirements.
Other processing technologies represented at the show will include fryers, ovens, raw produce preparation systems, dryers and coating equipment. Heat and Control will also present its Cascade Water Recirculation Systems, developed to reduce freshwater consumption across food processing operations.
Integrated snack packaging
For packaging applications, the company will run a high-speed small-bag snack line combining a Lift & Tip vertical conveyor, Ishida CCW-AS multihead weigher, CEIA metal detector and Ishida Inspira VFFS bagmaker.
An Astro VFFS snack packaging system paired with an Ishida CCW-RVE multihead weigher will also be exhibited.
Additional technologies will include Ishida X-ray systems, checkweighers and seal inspection equipment, alongside CEIA metal detection systems. Heat and Control will also demonstrate its FastBack 4.0 motion conveying technology and controls platforms designed to support automation efficiency and production monitoring.
